[CMC Alert] CCSDS Review of CCSDS 355.0-R-1, Space Data Link Security Protocol

The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed on 
line for CCSDS Agency review:

        CCSDS 355.0-R-1.  Space Data Link Security Protocol.
                          Red Book.  May 2011.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  This draft Recommended Standard specifies a 
security protocol for CCSDS data links.  The protocol provides a 
security header and trailer along with associated procedures that may 
be used with the CCSDS Telemetry, Telecommand, and Advanced Orbiting 
Systems Space Data Link Protocols to provide a structured method for 
applying data authentication and/or data confidentiality at the Data 
Link layer.

The due date for receipt of Agency review comments by the Review 
Coordinator is 2011-7-15.  More information is available at the Web 
site identified below.
