[CMC Alert] CCSDS-CMC Reminder: Agency Action Items

Dear Mr. Nick Tongson,

Here are the JAXA responses to three action items.

*CMC-A-2010-06-07

On this action, JAXA investigated what software are available and how they
are available for a purpose of this action.

JAXA identified some software which employed the CCSDS standards of RAF,
CLTU, AOS, an the Time Code Format.

These are the software package supplied by S/W vendors as a part of
development of the satellite tracking network, therefore, these are not in a
form of executable software like a freeware.

These S/W may be referred to in a form of open source list for analyzing how
CCSDSs are adopted, however the followings need to be considered for making
them available for other agencies;

$B!!(B-Software component are not designed for the purpose of this action.
   Relevant part of components need to be extracted from the whole S/W
package.
$B!!(B-In the open lists, comments are annotated in Japanese.

Discussion is open whether it is appropriate to include above type of
software in the action list.

*CMC-A-2010-06-11

JAXA does not recognize any books that have critical schedules.


*CMC-A-2010-06-12

JAXA does not have a nomination of representatives to participate in the
SANA Steering Group.

At the recent CMC Webex on 16 September 2010, the Secretariat was instructed
to remind CMC member agencies about the 3 Action Items assigned to them from
the recent meeting in Brazil. As a follow-up to the earlier e-mail on 13
September, please find attached the 3 Action Items in PDF with a due date of
25 October 2010.



Also, as a reference and to aid you with your response to Action Item
CMC-A-2010-06-12, attached is the current draft of the SANA Yellow Book.
