The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed on 
line for CCSDS Agency review:

      CCSDS 650.0-P-1.1.  Reference Model for an Open Archival
                          Information System (OAIS).  Pink Book.
                          August 2009.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  The review document defines the ISO Reference 
Model for an Open Archival Information System (OAIS).   The current 
draft updates the original issue based on input from the user 
community as well as working group-internal review.

The due date for receipt of Agency review comments by the Review 
Coordinator is 2009-11-13.  More information is available at the Web 
site identified below.

The review document, in Portable Document Format (PDF), and 
associated review materials are available for downloading at the 
following location:

REMINDER:  Agency Heads of Delegation are to make their own 
arrangements for review participation by their Agency-sponsored Associates.

as well as technical content.
