[CMC Alert] RP A8-28 Announcement of Review Opportunity

The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed on 
line for CCSDS Agency review:

      CCSDS 132.0-P-1.1.  TM Space Data Link Protocol.
                          Pink Sheets.  December 2008.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  This Recommendation specifies the protocol, 
services, and procedures pertaining to the CCSDS Version-1 
Synchronous Transfer Frame.  The current draft updates Frame Error 
Control Field Encoding Procedure to be consistent with other CCSDS 
Space Data Link Protocol specifications; changes all occurrences of 
'Packet Service' and 'Packet Transfer Service' to 'Virtual Channel 
Packet Service'; corrects/clarifies Service Specification 
'.indication' text; and updates/clarifies text relating to Idle 
Packet generation.

The due date for receipt of Agency review comments by the Review 
Coordinator is 2009-2-18.  More information is available at the Web 
site identified below.
