[CMC Alert] RP A8-11 Announcement of Review Opportunity

The following draft CCSDS Recommended Standard has been placed on 
line for CCSDS Agency review:

      CCSDS 414.1-R-1.  Pseudo-Noise (PN) Ranging Systems.
                        Red Book.  August 2008.

DOCUMENT DESCRIPTION:  This draft Recommended Standard defines both 
transparent and regenerative PN ranging systems.  The specification 
for PN code components and generation, on-board spacecraft 
regenerative/transparent processing, ground station processing, and 
uplink and downlink signal modulation are defined.

The due date for receipt of Agency review comments by the Review 
Coordinator is 2008-10-9.  More information is available at the Web 
site identified below.
