ITEM FOR CCSDS MANAGEMENT COUNCIL ACTION

The following action item remains open after two previous requests for input
(13 July and 18 October):


CMC-S04-A5

Evaluate the relationship between CCSDS and European Cooperation for Space
Standardization (ECSS) standards and attempt to improve allocation of
resources by focusing technical standards work towards CCSDS.

Status - Open.  A reminder message regarding this action will be sent from
the Secretariat to the CMC members by COB 12 July 2004.  Responses should be
sent to: secretariat at ccsds.org.

13 July 2004 - A reminder message was sent to CMC Members on 12 July 2004.

12 August 2004 - As of this date, no input has been received for this
action.

18 October 2004 - As of this date, no input has been received for this
action.  Another reminder message will be sent to the assignees.

In responding to this open action item, please address the following:

1.  What are your Agency requirements if any, regarding cooperation with the
ECSS?

2.  If you have Agency requirements regarding this cooperation, how do you
propose to work these requirements in terms of your membership in CCSDS?

In order to provide updated status for this action at the upcoming CMC
meeting, please respond to this request as soon as possible.  Send your
response to secretariat at ccsds.org.
