Dear CMC colleagues: So far we have only 5 responses on chosing the date for the CMC mid-term telecon. It would help if we had a bit larger participation. Please indicate your availability on the Doodle Poll:

Thanks, and best regards,

Subject: CMC Mid-Term telecon - poll

CMC Colleagues: In the meetings in Darmstadt, there was some discussion about having the CMC Mid-Term telecon in November (after the Cleveland Plenary and before the CMC/IOAG meeting in December). However, our CESG chairmen (Adrian and Nestor) have discussed this, and they really think that the CMC needs to have a telecon in September before the CMC Plenary meeting in Cleveland. This is so that CMC output can guide the working groups at the Plenary meeting. Additionally, the CESG prefers to have more time to prepare a good Plenary report for the CMC, which was one of the purposes of separating the CMC from the Plenary during the Fall meeting. A mid-term telecon in early November would cut that time short.

Considering some known scheduling issues, I have set up a poll for the CMC on select Mondays and Tuesdays prior to the Cleveland Plenary meeting. The Doodle poll is here:

Please log on and indicate which dates you can support for the CMC mid-term telecon.

Best regards,

   -=- Mike
