[CMC] RE: Advice from IOAG to CCSDS on CS-SM refactoring

Thank you, Jean-Marc, for the comprehensive and timely input from the IOAG to the CCSDS on Service Management.  As you can see by Adrian's request to you below, CCSDS is ready to take action (after you respond to his question) to relay it to the areas and WGs.  We will look to the CESG to advise the CMC as to when to respond to the IAOG on this topic, and what that response should be.  

I am copying the CMC on this so that they will know that this input is being worked by the CESG, and it will be part of our discussions at the CMC meeting in Darmstadt.

Jean-Marc: the letter that you sent today (6 April) has the same date (30 March 2012) as the draft that you sent on 02 April. But I understand that there was some slight modification to the wording between the two versions. Do you have a "changes" version that shows the modifications? I have already distributed the 02 April file to the CESG and it would help if we could clearly understand what changed in today's version.

Dear Mike

following the presentation made by the CCSDS-IOAG liaison at the IOAG-15 meeting (December 2011, Toulouse) , actions were taken in order to elaborate an IOAG advice to CCSDS on the requirements in this domain.
This is the contents of the attached letter to the present message that, taking into account the dates of the upcoming CCSDS WG meetings, I elected to send you via email.

I appreciate that this is relayed to the areas and working groups of interest within CCSDS, and I hope it is useful for them in the upcoming meetings.
