CMC E-Poll Identifier: CMC-P-2008-10-002 Authorization to create CSS
Cross Support Service Architecture Working Group

Results of CMC poll beginning 3 October 2008 and ending 10 October 2008:

ADOPT: 7 (87.5%) (ASI, BNSC, CNES, DLR, ESA, JAXA, NASA)
   ADOPT PROVISIONALLY: 1 (12.5%) (INPE)
                REJECT: 0 (0%)
  REJECT WITH COMMENTS: 0 (0%)

INPE: INPE response to this poll is an ADOPT. INPE would
expect, among the other important goals of this emerging WG, that the
Magenta Book, RASDS document CCSDS 311.0-M-1 will also be effectively
serving as an important contribution in the leverage of applicable,
supporting Recomendations to be produced under its activities, as
found to be appropriate. In the context of this WG, it is understood
that the RASDS document may serve as an important source for
conveying the formulation and definition of space communications
architectures for applications in cross-support, interoperable
services. In this way, those services may be embedding a strong
appeal for "universal" approach which, in turn, may also enhance
their potentials for an homogeneous and wide dissemination. The
dissemination use of interoprable Recomendations is a natural,
intrinsic, fundamental goal expected from CCSDS products.

Results are based on responses from 8 out of 11 members (72.73%).

No response was received from the following Agencies:

CNSA
