The Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) understands
that the second Inter-Operability Plenary meeting (IOP-2) will be hosted
by NASA in Geneva, Switzerland, from 08-10 December 2008. We also
understand that you are developing the IOP agenda as an IOAG function.
As the CCSDS Secretariat, I have been asked by the CCSDS Management
Council (CMC) to make this request.

The CMC proposes that the CCSDS will make a presentation to the IOP-2
concerning the CCSDS view of past and future interoperability. At the
last CMC meeting in Berlin (Oct. 21-23) the CMC decided to request that
a 30-minute time slot on the IOP-2 agenda be allocated for this CCSDS
presentation. It will be given by Mr. Jean-Francois Kaufeler of the
European Space Agency, who will be attending IOP-2 as a member of the
ESA delegation.

Best regards and thanks,

Mike Kearney

Chairman and General Secretary, CCSDS Management Council
