CMC E-Poll Identifier: CMC-P-2006-10-004: Approval of
Resolutions and Action Items from the 2006 Fall CMC
meeting

Results of CMC poll beginning 19 October 2006 and ending 3
November 2006:

ADOPT: 6 (85.71%) (ASI, BNSC, CNES, DLR,
JAXA, NASA)
   ADOPT PROVISIONALLY: 1 (14.29%) (INPE)
                REJECT: 0 (0%)
  REJECT WITH COMMENTS: 0 (0%)

INPE: INPE response is of approval (adoption) to the
current question. However, this opportunity is being taken
for suggesting that future pollings of this same nature,
which will be resulting from future CMC meetings, may
observe a two stage process, so that: in a FIRST STAGE,
only those who effectively participated of the meetings
may receive the contents of the report for their
individual analysis, in separate. After such an analysis,
each participant should then have the opportunity to
report in separate to the Secretariat eventual
clarifications, adjustments or even corrections that may be
found to be pertinent, for possible consideration; in a
SECOND STAGE, a polling like the current one would, then,
be made like it is being considered in the current case.
Till recently, when e-polling was not yet in practice for
a purpose like the current one, an equivalent of the two
stage process had been regularly in use because the
participants of the meeting had, in principle, an
opportunity to review a draft version of the draft minutes
of the meetings, which also contained the respective
Resolutions and Action Items. Then, in principle, the
final approval of the minutes were subject of a final
confirmation in the following meeting.

Results are based on responses from 7 out of 10 members
(70%).

No response was received from the following Agencies:

CSA

FSA

Secretariat Interpretation of Results: Adopted
