CMC Chair: according to the draft minutes and resolutions/action items from
the December 2004 CCSDS Management Council meeting --
http://www.ccsds.org/docu/dscgi/ds.py/Get/File-2294/B10x0xY28.pdf
-- three CMC Resolutions were formulated concerning the creating of a Cross
Support Services Architecture for the IOAG:
[CMC-R-0412-004] The CMC resolves to develop a Cross Support
Services Architecture that clearly defines how service providers
offer services to their customers and to each other. This work
should be done in accordance with a general framework provided
to the CCSDS by the IOAG.
Assignee: CMC Due Date: TBD Status Open
[CMC-R-0412-007] The CMC resolves to provide the Interoperability/Cross
Support Architecture.
Assignee: CMC Due Date:TBD Status:Open
[CMC-R-0412-008] The CMC resolves that an Interoperability/Cross Support
Services Catalog will be generated after the Interoperability/Cross Support
Architecture is defined.
Assignee: CMC Due Date:TBD Status:Open
In trying to track the progress of these items (among others) it appears that:
1. The Resolutions were not translated into corresponding Action Items.
2. As a consequence, the CESG has not been instructed by the CMC to prepare
a plan for how to satisfy these obligations to the IOAG.
Could the CMC please clarify how it would like the CESG to proceed with
respect to this work item?
Best regards
