This sounds very reasonable.. There’s a draft of the yellowbook (from late 2024) in the CESG area.  I propose that for things like this, I put a highlighted note in the appropriate section saying “we need to update this” and perhaps with text from the email?
There’s so many good ideas bouncing around, I’d hate to overlook one.

I would imagine you all have edit access, so nothing stopping you from putting something in – just mark it with your name somehow so we can find it.
