[CESG] Modified plans for the CCSDS management week meetings in Puerto Rico

CMC & CESG,

As you plan your travel… the technical meetings will be 25 to 29 May 2026, and the management meetings would typically start the following Monday, 1 June.

However, as a sign of gratitude to our hosts we offered to use that Monday (1 June) for outreach and student and faculty engagement at UPRM.  We are working with Shannon to design that activity. She will likely ask some of you to give short presentations related to your agency and missions as well as standards.   More details soon.

As a result, the formal CESG meetings will start on Tuesday (2 June) all day and half day on Wednesday.

The CMC meeting will start Wednesday afternoon and all day Thursday.

We often keep one more day as (in this case, this will be Friday) morning flexible in case of overflow topics.  But we don’t anticipate to need this.  You can plan your travel back home as you wish.

Also note that we are planning on an activity on Monday 25 May, the technical plenary where industry reps will be invited for short talks like we did in the past.  More on this in a separate email soon.

Please let us know if any of this causes a problem for your arrangements.
