Hello Daniel,

In general I find the new template much nicer and more effective than the previous one. I’ve only a few remarks/comments:

1.	Slides 2: it provides an outline of the presentation, but I don’t find it necessary.
2.	Slide 4: statistics. Personally I’d be more in favour of keeping it at the very beginning before starting the reporting at area and WG level, just to show immediately the level of participation. Another remark here, typically these statistics are provided by Brian in dedicated slides. The figures appearing there obviously include only the participation onsite, while we should include the remote as well. As such, it would be good that Brian shares editable histograms, otherwise we have to recreate the statistics or add a note stating that other xxx persons attended remotely.
3.	Slide 5: one slide per WG, though addressing only the key points, can be tricky in some cases. For instance in DTN we have 6-7 books in parallel and condensing the key points in one slide can be hard, though not impossible.
4.	Slide 7: concerning the resolutions do we mean only those to be directly raised and discussed at CESG/CMC for decision, or also those that will happen in the following 6 months (as it was in the previous template)?
5.	Slide 8: personally I liked the “offline” project planning, as it gives to CMC and the rest of the CESG colleagues a clear picture of where we stand and how much is missing for the ongoing books and the possible plan for the draft ones. By simply putting the link to CWE, honestly speaking, I don’t know how many of the CMC people will really be brave enough to go to CWE and check the info available there. Moreover, plan for draft projects agreed during the meeting may not be already resulted in draft projects in CWE.
6.	General comment (for confirmation and common understanding): my understanding is that as we are doing now we present all WGs one after another, each with respect to progress, resolution, project planning. That means we are not going to present first all WGs with respect to the progress, then all again with respect to resolutions, etc.

Regards,

Tomaso

Subject: [CESG] Draft new reporting template

Dear all,

I have started drafting the new reporting template for the Area reports. It’s based on the new CCSDS PPT template that Amber has worked on.

<https://spacecomm.sharepoint.com/:p:/r/sites/CESG/Shared%20Documents/CWE%20Private/Meetings/2026%20Fall%20Meeting,%20Matera,%20Italy/CESG%20Meetings/Updated%20AD%20Report%20Template%20_%20Draft%201.pptx?d=we7870d897b614ce6b9e42fa22b4af5ae&csf=1&web=1&e=w9f1H5> Updated AD Report Template _ Draft 1.pptx

Please insert your suggestions and comments directly in the file. Then we can discuss it in our next online meeting so it is ready for the Fall Meetings.

Cheers

Daniel
