Dear Daniel, dear all,
I will be available from the 18th of february from 11H00 CET till the 27th of february, except the 26th from 10 to 12H00 CET.
An organisational topic could indeed be the dates of CCSDS spring meeting, as you mentioned Tomaso; time is short now. In addition, the 2026 SFCG meeting will take place in Taiwan between the 23th of june and the 1st of july. For SLS, Dennis (Lee) and myself are concerned (despite I would of course give priority to CCSDS in case of overlaping CCSDS and SFCG meetings); Andrea (Modenini) might also have to make an on-line presentation of this SFCG meeting, following up a presentation he made during the previous SFCG meeting. I would therefore suggest to avoid a CCSDS spring meeting during the beginning of summer, also to keep more time between spring and fall meetings.
I also agree with Tomaso's point 2) below
Have a nice day; BR
Jean-Luc

Objet : Re: [CESG] CESG Mid-Term Meeting
Hello Daniel,
Unfortunately that week is school holiday in Bayern, so that very likely I'll be off the entire week (for sure until the 18th). If you could target 19th or 20th of February or even better the following week would work for me.
As to points I'd like to be discussed I have at the least the following:
1) Spring Meeting: what is the situation? We are in February and no official announcement was made so far so that last-second announcement could be complicated for the participation of European people.
2) Involvement of tech editors in the various steps of book review and approval rounds: after the agreement we somehow had at the last CESG meeting and the concept also illustrated to CMC. Nevertheless so far apparently there was no action to improve the process and the publication/approval process takes ages. As already warned in Hamburg, this is very critical for the overall CCSDS standardization process and also for the general credibility of our work.
Regards,
Tomaso

Subject: [CESG] CESG Mid-Term Meeting
Dear all,
Apologies for this coming so late, January was unfortunately an extremely busy month.
I would like to propose to hold our CESG mid-term meeting in the week of 16 February. My default slot proposal would be the 17th February 17:00 CEST but I am open to any other day in this week. Please let me know if you are able to accommodate the 17th or would prefer another day.
I am in the process of preparing the agenda. If you have any points you would like to discuss, please let me know.
Kind Regards,
Daniel
