Hi Jim,

 

That's indeed what I had in mind. The changes proposed by Peter is what I
was expecting, but as also commented within him around November/December
2024 also figure 6-1 should be updated to clearly show that an orange book
could also be moved to a magenta track (not only to a blue one) in case hard
requirements from missions or agencies are coming up.

I have a draft of the Yellow Book labeled OB mod..(attached).. (it's also
out in CESG sharepoint in drafts)

Tomaso, can you take a glance and see if this has what you think Peter was
thinking about.  The filename date (Nov 2024) seems to be about right.

Thank you for sharing the link to the material for the yellow book revision.


 

As already discussed in the past and agreed with Peter Shames roughly two
years ago, please do not forget that the orange book description should be
slightly revised so that it can be made clear that the content can be either
bluish or magentish. In this latter case, the need for a prototype (to be
documented in a dedicated annex) has to be removed. I think Peter had
already agreed something with Tom, but I'm afraid his proposal was lost.
