I have now received formal or informal communications about our two vacancies:

SLS AD: ESA has a nominee (UKSA considered it but is not moving forward)
SEA DAD: UKSA has a nominee (JAXA is considering it but is yet formalize it)

Please reply to this message ASAP with formal wording of your nominee’s name and a brief bio so we can set up the polls.

CCSDS Leadership,

Since the rise of our colleague Hiroshi Takeuchi to the be the JAXA delegate to the CMC, we have not filled his old role as Deputy Area Director for System Engineering (SEA). This is assuming he would not hold both roles at the same time.

Also, our colleague Ignacio Aguilar Sanchez, Space Link Services Area Director, has announced his plans to retire after the Spring Meeting.

This is now a call for nominations from all member agencies for candidates for these two roles.  We can aim to do this as soon as possible with the aim of having the new AD and DAD in place just in time for the Spring Meeting in June at APL.  Let us aim for the end of March for the nominations at the latest.
