Dear Daniel et al,

I am having difficulties in signing in CWE (hence can also not vote on the polls).

Laura is kindly looking into it.

Please find attached the MOIMS presentation for the opening plenary.

If you could please upload it in the folder on my behalf.

Regards

Mehran

Hello Daniel,

Following the tradition of organizing meeting material in the CESG space of the CWE, I have created a directory for the Spring 2025 meetings which can be reached via https://spacecomm.sharepoint.com/sites/CESG/Shared%20Documents/CWE%20Private/Meetings/2025%20Spring%20Meeting%2C%20Laurel%2C%20MD%2C%20USA

In this directory I have also created a sub-directory for collecting the opening plenary inputs which can be reached via https://spacecomm.sharepoint.com/sites/CESG/Shared%20Documents/CWE%20Private/Meetings/2025%20Spring%20Meeting%2C%20Laurel%2C%20MD%2C%20USA/CESG%20Opening%20Plenary%2C%209%20June%202025 I have uploaded the CSS Area opening plenary report to this directory. If you would like it emailed directly please let me know.

Best regards,

-Erik

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [CESG] CCSDS Spring Meeting - Plenary Preparation

Dear all,

Following an iteration with Tim and Amber, we have a draft agenda for the opening plenary. Please find it attached. We can discuss details tomorrow.

Just some info and request for input below already:

1/ Area Reports: After our last discussion and also following a request from the CMC to shorten the area reports, Tim & I have agreed that we will cut the reporting time to a total of about 35 minutes, split as following: 5 minutes per area in general with one exception: SLS has 7 minutes because of its size (this is not yet reflected in the draft agenda). It is critical that we keep to that time!

I am attaching for you the new template for the area reports that I have iterated with Tim as well, to be discussed tomorrow.

2/ The CMC has requested a presentation on CCSDS Success Stories as part of the opening plenary (see Agenda 09:20-09:40). This will be delivered by Tim. We have identified already two items that should be mentioned: (1) ESA/JPL Psyche Demo Standardisation Context @Clemens Heese<mailto:Clemens.Heese at esa.int> I believe you are already preparing input (2) DTN/Forward Link Service with Intuitive Machines (Tim).

We would need 3-4 more examples. Please come forward with proposals. @Mehran Sarkarati<mailto:Mehran.Sarkarati at esa.int> mentioned to me that we could include Ground Station Cross support…this is not new but may be worth to mention again.

3/ Please come forward with any Agenda Items you would like to propose for the CESG meetings, so we can have an overview tomorrow.

Cheers

Daniel
