Hi Shannon,
Regarding CDM V 2, FYI, I reached out to David Berry last week and he copied me on an email to one of the tech editors (Natalya) indicating that they (NAV WG) are going to do some further work given inputs from US Dept. of Commerce among other things and that this is no longer high-priority at the moment.
Regarding yellow books that are prototype test reports, these almost never have any editor processing. Upon rare occasion where someone wants a formal record published the yellow book can be submitted such that the formal record is recorded. The yellow books that are prototype test reports are included for CESG polling for whatever standard is being addressed for the CESG to read, but again there is no Secretariat level editing that is done.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [CESG] On the editor's queue
CESG Folks,
Trying to get an assignment from the EASY Priority Lane 1 while wait for the Prox books to come in, and using the table that was created in the meeting (https://spacecomm.sharepoint.com/:x:/r/sites/CESG/_layouts/15/Doc.aspx?sourcedoc=%7B8AF044C2-702B-4601-92E1-996D9CC0FAA1%7D&file=CCSDS%20Books%2C%20Priority.xlsx&action=default&mobileredirect=true<https://urldefense.us/v3/__https:/spacecomm.sharepoint.com/:x:/r/sites/CESG/_layouts/15/Doc.aspx?sourcedoc=*7B8AF044C2-702B-4601-92E1-996D9CC0FAA1*7D&file=CCSDS*20Books*2C*20Priority.xlsx&action=default&mobileredirect=true__;JSUlJSU!!PvBDto6Hs4WbVuu7!NUJn9DdhlKc45kaasDvwxEfh66dp4JX4pjDtygSA7lRzFnynjZKqhTnJ8K3lki9jnw7KLXljJEZW34b91anW-3vGsKFz$>) , we have found some hiccups when assigning:
1. Conjunction Data Message V.2 (508.0-B-2)
* “… reached out to David Berry, and he said that CDM 508.0-B-2 does not yet exist. It did finish agency review, but as a pink book, heading into interoperability testing, so at least a few weeks away from being ready for editing.”
2. Mission Product Distribution Service (522.2-B-1)
* From Costin: “That is correct, this is not blue yet but will be by September 2025. We just wrapped up the two independent prototypes (one ESA, one NASA) and completed final edits at the last technical meeting (in June 2025). So, you will see a blue version shortly." and "I will follow up on the status of the Blue book. The Yellow book was approved in June. Yellow book is a report related to the process of improving the Red book into a Blue book—in this case it’s a report on a test of two prototypes of the Red book standard to find areas for improvement to make the Blue book"
* Does the yellow book also have same classification priority?
Could you all please clarify and make sure the info on the table is clear.
Thanks
Shannon
