Subject: RE: AOS Analysis Review

All,

Thanks for all your time yesterday and to Ricky for producing and presenting the analysis.

The presentation is now on the CWE - here<https://cwe.ccsds.org/sls/docs/SLS-SLP/Meeting%20Materials/2024/Fall/AOS/AOS_SCID_Analysis_UKSA.pptx?d=wfd841b17143346d8bcdd3a344e84ab5b>

The actions are:

  1. UKSA (MC) to brief UK CMC representative about a potential change to the SANA procedures. The proposal would allow SANA to remove SCIDs of spacecraft that are known to have completed their missions. This removes the requirement for SCIDs to be only removed by the original requester. Due : 30 Sept 2024
  2. NASA (GK) and ESA (IAS) to investigate whether their missions have experienced interference at an RF level during regular link sessions. Due : 30 Sept 2024

The next steps are to review the data from Action 2 and prepare a Working Group response (which could then be an Area response) to the current issue of SANA running out of AOS SCIDs. It would be good to complete this response for CCSDS London, so we are able to present to the other areas, namely System Engineering.

Comments welcome.

Cheers, Matt

Where: Microsoft Teams Meeting

All,

This is to present the analysis performed on the SANA registered spacecraft using the AOS SCID.

This is an action from the Spring meetings. Hopefully, this can inform the work required for London.

Regards, Matt.
