I do not need a new Area resolution. I need explicit statements from Erik
and Ignacio that their conditions for approval have been met. That is the
prerequisite for initiating the CMC poll.

SEA Resolution - SEA-R-2024-11-03 Request Publication of Magenta Book CCSDS
Reference Architecture for Space Data Systems, 311.0-M-2 

 

The CCSDS Systems Engineering Area (SEA) Area Director,

 

CONSIDERING that the Systems Architecture WG has:

*	Updated the CCSDS Reference Architecture for Space Data Systems,
311.0-M-2 , and that
*	The document has passed Agency Review, and that
*	The PIDs identified during the CESG review prior to publication have
been successfully dispositioned (text and resolutions attached here), and
that
*	The CESG members who raised PIDs have accepted the proposed
resolutions.

 

And CONSIDERING that the SEA Area Director has reviewed the final document
and concurs that it is ready to publish.

 

RESOLVES to request The Secretariat to process the attached final draft of
this document and the related updates to figures, and to send it to the CMC
requesting approval to publish.

 

RECOMMENDS that the CMC approve this resolution and, finally

 

REQUESTS that a CMC poll be conducted to approve Publication of this update
as CCSDS Reference Architecture for Space Data Systems, 311.0-M-2.

 

 Attachments:

*	Updates to CCSDS 311x0m12 with track changes showing edits and notes
about figures to be updated
*	File of SEA SAWG RASDS figures with PID fixes marked
*	File of SCaN MBSE model with PID fixes marked
*	File of PIDs and proposed resolutions that have been concurred by
the CESG members
