[CESG] CESG Chair Succession Planning

CCSDS Agency Delegates,

The CCSDS Management Council is now in search of new CESG chair to replace Dr. Schulz - - not that anybody can truly replace him.

With this announcement from the ESA Delegate, I kick-off the process of accepting nominations of candidates.  We are aiming to complete this and select a new chair by the next in-person meeting to allow time for overlap and some transfer of knowledge.

Although we will celebrate Klaus-Juergen career at our next meeting in London, I want to stress that this is a historical moment for our organization, and we will all miss his wisdom and technical expertise.

We congratulate him in advance on his pending retirement and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
