SEA Resolution - SEA-R-2024-06-01 Request CMC Approval of RASIM Green Book refresh, CCSDS 312.0-G-1

The CCSDS Systems Engineering Area (SEA) Area Director,

CONSIDERING that the Systems Architecture Working Group (Sec WG) has:
o Reviewed the current version of the Reference Architecture for Space Information Management (RASIM), CCSDS 312.0-G-1<https://public.ccsds.org/Pubs/312x0g1.pdf>, and
o Determined that the document is now in need of being updated to accommodate more modern information management techniques and patterns, and
o That the MOIMS DAI WG has requested that a refresh or reconfirmation be performed for this document, and
o The WG has reached consensus on requesting a new Project to create this update, and
o Has identified WG members who wish to take responsibility for this update.

RESOLVES to request CMC to approve the new RASIM Update project that has been entered into the CWE, located at https://cwe.ccsds.org/fm/Lists/Projects/DispFormDraft.aspx?ID=678&Source=http://cwe.ccsds.org/fm/Lists/Projects/AllOpenChartersWithDraftProjects.aspx.

RECOMMENDS that the CMC approve this resolution and, finally

REQUESTS that a CMC poll be conducted to approve this Project.
