[CESG] Resolution SOIS-WIR WG-R-2021-07-01: Approval to release CCSDS-883-0-R-0, High Data-Rate Wireless Network Communications, for CCSDS Agency review

Hi, Jonathan:

 

I understood the document was to be submitted for publication as Blue 1, and
I believe that was what the Working Group intended. Beyond that, since the
document has already gone through Red-1 review, no Area resolution would be
necessary to send it to a Red-2 review.

 

So can you please clarify whether the current version is being submitted for
publication or for Agency review?

The following resolution has been approved by SOIS AD.

Resolution SOIS-WIR WG-R-2021-07-001: Request for CMC approval of
Spacecraft Onboard Interface Services - Wireless - High Data-Rate Wireless
Network Communications specification (CCSDS-883-0-R-0) for Agency review

 

CONSIDERING that the CCSDS Spacecraft Onboard Interface Services Wireless WG
(SOIS-WIR), Is chartered to standardize wireless communications for onboard
spacecraft vehicles and planetary surface infrastructure within a 10-km
proximity area, Has been approved to describe a CCSDS a high data-rate
wireless networking communications architecture, and Has reached consensus
on a High Data-Rate Wireless Network Communications specification that
accomplishes this objective, and has dispositioned all CESG poll conditions
with the agreement of all poll condition initiators,

 

RESOLVES to request CMC approval of High Data-Rate Wireless Network
Communications specification (CCSDS-883-0-R-0) Red Book for Agency review.
and 

 

RECOMMENDS that the CMC approve this resolution and, finally 

 

REQUESTS that a CMC poll be conducted to accomplish this
