[CESG] Extension of polling period / Identification

Gippo,

Is there a technical reason for this request?  This document has been reviewed and re-reviewed, for months, but the CESG and the CMC.  What is the reason for this added delay?

Dear CESG Members,

An AD has requested extension of the polling period for
CESG-P-2017-08-008 Approval to publish CCSDS 320.0-M-7, CCSDS
Spacecraft Identification Field Code Assignment Control Procedures
(Magenta Book, Issue 7).

In the absence of objection prior to 6:00 PM EDT today, the closure
date for CESG-P-2017-08-008 will be extended to 19 September 2017.
