Peter,

It is not true, as you stated, that the flow CCSDS - IOAG is
uni-directional.

It is also true that we do not have a description of the liaison
procedure, but I do not believe that the CESG has to be more catholic than
the Pope and include this type of issues in the "Bible"(e.g. YB on Proc &
Org).

The CCSDS liasion to IOAG is handling the requests as they surface from
the various CESG webexs, CESG or CMC meetings.

Some examples could be mentioned:

An Area announce that can not comply with the "IOAG need date" set up by
them in the ICPA ==> Liaison action: Request in next IOAG webex to
reconsider "IOAG need date"
CMC placed an action upon the liaison to suggest the creation of an IOAG
WG on Lunar / MArs Mission and its standardization needs ==> Liaison
request: Please IOAG assess the need of such Group
CESG decided to promote MO Services ==> Liaison request ==> CCSDS to
present during IOAG meeting the MO Services

All these actions are always described in the CESG presentation to IOAG,
which the Liaison religiously distribute to the CESG.

Now. coming back to your proposed resolution. I have mentioned during our
last CESG meeting that the IOAG has an "Infusion Table" (see below) but it
is limited (no info about frequency, coding, modulation, and link layer
for comms ).

I will first had an informal word tomorrow with the IOAG Chair and Gippo
to get their views, and I, together with Wallace, will address this
informally with Jean Marc and Shigeta-san next week in Brazil.

Once that I collect their views we can decide together the way forward
(full infusion or phased approach)
