Dear John and Klaus Juergen

The SSI architecture GB has been reviewed at CESG level and there are some comments that deserve a discussion with the IOAG SSIG Chairs. The main issue is a proposed redefinition of the SSI architecture stages around " degree of change to existing NWs"  rather than the current  "degree of automation / cross support"

As you will be next week in San Antonio for the Optical BoF, we would appreciate to have a splinter meeting with you and some CESG members (mainly SIS and SEA ADs). The suggestion will be to have a working lunch during Monday or Tuesday.
