Please find below the actions placed upon the CESG

CMC-A-2013-12-01
In response to a question from Martin Pilgram regarding the use of 
different frequencies for onboard wireless communication, Chris Taylor is 
requested to report on the trade-offs and rationale regarding the 
selection of frequencies when the CCSDS 882.0-M-1 (Low Data-Rate Wireless 
Communications for Spacecraft Monitoring and Control) was developed and 
look into expanding to include additional frequencies.

the Secretariat)

CMC-A-2013-12-03
Gian Paolo Calzolari was instructed to coordinate with the Optical 
Communication Working Group to determine if there is a need to develop a 
Magenta Book on optical coding and modulation.

CMC-A-2013-12-04
The CESG was instructed to discuss the feasibility of an open source 
software repository within CCSDS.

CMC-A-2013-12-05
CESG was instructed to clarify the work of the Telerobotics Working Group 
to determine if there is appropriate and timely access to all the WG 
documents by all WG members via the CWE.

The CESG was instructed to respond to the CMC comments on the Strategic 
Plan and to submit a revised draft of the plan to the CMC by the end of 
February 2014.

Based on the ESA agency report, the CESG is requested to find a way to 
represent the inter-relationship/interdependencies of projects/working 
groups. This is needed for the "Big Picture" roadmap.

CMC-A-2013-12-07
CMC Members were instructed to review the Project Resources within their 
own agency and communicate to the CESG chair the projects that they can 
support so that the Management Framework can be updated by the appropriate 
Working Group chair. The Secretariat will support this by sending a 
template.

CMC-A-2013-12-09
The Secretariat was instructed to add a column for "approve" and "pending" 
in the Project Resources Framework and ICPA, in addition to the project 
start date (reference Action Item XXX).

CMC-A-2013-12-10
In the Project Resources Framework, the Secretariat was instructed to 
remove from the Monitor column any agency that is already in the 
Contributing column, book editor, prototype 1, or prototype 2; also remove 
any agency from the Contributing column if that agency is already 
identified as the book editor, prototype 1, or prototype 2. In addition, 
the Monitor column heading will be re-labeled as Monitor Only. When this 
is completed, the Secretariat will send a message to CESG-ALL to inform 
the Working Group chairs (with alerts disabled).

Resolution
CMC-R-2013-12-01
The CMC resolves that, based on a CESG recommendation, the Fall 2014 
technical meetings will be conducted in 5 days with the CESG meeting on 
Monday the week after the technical meetings and the CMC from Tuesday 
through Thursday.
