[CESG] Opening Plenary; CESG agenda; CMC report

To be frank, I am not sure just what is meant by this. The only Magenta Books that would be affected are essentially what were application profiles. These are now categorized as either utilization or adaptation profile Blue Books. Since this type of Magenta Book already had a requirement to get interoperability testing done there is little change to the document, contents, or requirements, the change is just a little text and the front cover color.

Why is this an issue? What books do you think are affected?

I do not think we need an extra review just because these docs are being re-christened since there should not be any change in the technical content.

Thanks, Peter

Good point, Nestor.

Adrian, you’re in control of the charts right now. Want to add that?

Mike

In order to avoid confusion in the Audience, I would add (probably verbally) that Magenta books at work and in a mature status will not be affected by the new BB definition. This has been discussed / agreed in Berlin.
