Peter, I’m having a hard time understanding your edits to page 7:

• Documents – Recent changes:
Special sections are now required in all standards for:
• Adoption of new Blue Book types, “Utilization Profile” and “Adaptation Profile” to replace what had been Magenta Book “Application Profiles”.
• PICS Pro Forma requirements and example added.
• Test reports are now to be CCSDS Yellow Books.
• Security
- State whether or not there are Security considerations
• SANA – Space Assigned Numbers Authority
- State whether or not SANA registries are needed
• Documents – Upcoming changes:
• Some refinements are in work on the “boundary” between Blue and Magenta books. Please bear with us.
• The objective is to have a consistent predictable program for our customers’ missions and projects

You wiped out the Patent section under “Recent Changes” (meaning recent changes to what’s required within documents). And you put the color of books items in that section rather than replacing the bottom section that talked about the blue/magenta boundary.

I’ll attach my recommended slide on how to plug in your new bullets on book changes, with a few clarification tweaks.

Area Directors:

1. A new Fall 2011 CESG meeting folder is on the CWE at 2011 FALL BOULDER<javascript:_spNavigateHierarchy(this,'TreeViewDataSource','30:FolderNode:972452e3-9322-4870-9568-0041b2329aec','/cesg/docs/CWE%20Private/Meetings/2011%20FALL%20BOULDER',true,'FolderNode')>. All attached files are also there.

2. The Opening Plenary template attached. PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR INDICATED SECTION, DELETE ALL OTHER SLIDES, AND UPLOAD TO THE "Drafts" folder in the "OPENING PLENARY" folder as soon as possible (and no later than COB next Thursday, 27 October). Note that I need additional inputs from Mike, Tom and Nick and that I assume that Kevin Gifford will give a couple of minutes of "welcome to CU" address.

3. The Draft-0.1 agenda for the CESG meeting on Saturday, 05 November is attached. This will be in the Onizuka conference room. There are some open slots for additional agenda topics - please submit suggestions.

4. The CMC meeting will be held 2 weeks later in Moscow, so we have a bitof time after the meeting to finalize the CESG report. But we might as well use the attached file "d0.1-CESG-Report-to-CMC" as the template for the Area reports at Saturday's CESG meeting. Please fill out your section by Friday night 04 November and load into the Area Director Submissions folder.

Look forward to seeing you in Boulder, and safe travels.
