Shames (APPROVE UNCONDITIONALLY) For background, Mario, please note that Chris Volk has been supporting Jim Border, ex JPLer and ex DDOR WG chair, in CCSDS for the last couple of years.  He is taking over Jim's D-DOR operational position at JPL.  He has all of the required knowledge and credentials to be the deputy WG chair and was, as is noted above, nominated for this role by the D-DOR WG.
