R10.9 -- Only approved RIDs shall be moved to the next level.

We might want both approved and ‘not yet reviewed’ RIDS to progress. In a RID is NOT reviewed at level N, maybe it SHOULD be reviewed at level (N+1) by default?

R11.0 – The CCSDS Review Coordinator, together with the related Working Group level shall enter…

Do we want to allow Area Directors to participate in the resolution process as well, or only WG chairs?

Subject: [Cesg-all] Consolidated Requirements for new CCSDS RID Tool

Dear all,

Please find attached a consolidated Requirement spec for the future CCSDS RID Tool.

I have taken into account the hundreds of comments received from WGs and Areas. It is, by no means, a completed spec, but it allows to start the second iteration.

I recognize that the current spec

  1. it mixes requirements and procedural practices

  1. requirements are not good ordered
but this will be solved in the second version.

I would like to ask the WGs Chairs to take a view to the doc (only 7 pages) and (f possible) give feedback to your AD/DAD during your next Area Plenary to be held on Friday 21st October 2016.

CESG will discuss them during our meeting on 24th October.

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME YOUR COMMENTS. I PREFER TO GET THEM AT AREA LEVEL.

The document has also been uploaded into the CWE (directory CESG DOCUMENTS)
