CMC E-Poll Identifier:  CMC-P-2011-01-002 Approval to Appoint New 
Area Director for SLS (Space Link Services)
The CCSDS Management Council,
CONSIDERING that the CMC is responsible for appointing CCSDS Area 
Directors; and
RECOGNIZING that Mr. Gian Paolo Calzolari (ESA) has been proposed as 
Area Director for Space Link Services (SLS) to replace Mr. Jean-Luc 
Gerner (ESA); and
NOTING that no other agency has nominated an alternative candidate 
(see results of CMC-P-2010-12-001);
APPROVES the appointment of Mr. Gian Paolo Calzolari as Area Director of SLS.

Results of CMC poll beginning 13 January 2011 and ending 27 January 2011:

                 ADOPT:  10 (100%) (ASI, CNES, CSA, DLR, ESA, FSA, 
INPE, JAXA, NASA, UKSA)
   ADOPT PROVISIONALLY:  0 (0%)
                REJECT:  0 (0%)
  REJECT WITH COMMENTS:  0 (0%)

Results are based on responses from 10 out of 11 members (90.91%).
