Results of CMC poll beginning 17 May 2007 and ending 1 
June 2007:

                 ADOPT: 5 (83.33%) (BNSC, DLR, INPE, JAXA, 
NASA)
  ADOPT PROVISIONALLY*: 1 (16.67%) (CNES)
                REJECT: 0 (0%)
  REJECT WITH COMMENTS: 0 (0%)

      CNES: Two comments and suggestions:
- in Europe, the ECSS complain that the adoption of CCSDS 
documents is not possible and they have to re-write them 
(mainly in SLS area), mainly due to a poor editorial 
quality ; it is therefore recommended that the CCSDS 
editorial rules are strictly applied by the authors and 
are verified by the CCSDS secretariat, so that there is no 
room left for duplication of standards.
- considering the technical risk identified in the 
charter, of multiple standards, an action should be 
identified to bring any disagreement or any change with 
the objectives (e.g.: orange books vs blue books) to the 
attention of the CMC for decisions on the subsequent 
activities ; this should be around milestone 6 and before 
draft books are too much advanced.


Results are based on responses from 6 out of 10 members 
(60%).
