[Ccsds-omg-liaison] FW: LOI and voting list deadlines

Dear OMG members,

please see message from January 7 below. As a reminder, any OMG member organization (Trial and Analyst memberships, Retail members are limited to votes in the Retail DTF) is eligible to vote on any RFP or RFC as long as those processes get handled in the Task Force. For RFPs this means:


 1.  Any OMG member, exceptions listed above, can walk into a Task Force meeting and vote on a specific RFP as long as the voting list deadline has not passed
 2.  Once the voting list closed only those OMG members on the voting list can vote on proceedings for this RFP (deadline extensions, vote to recommend adoption to the AB/parent TC etc.)
 3.  Any OMG member ( with exceptions listed above) can walk into a Task Force meeting and vote on issuances of RFPs or RFCs or RFIs. Any process-related votes have to be published on the Task Force agenda
 4.  There are no strings attached to having your organization added to a RFP voting list, the same is true for submitting a letter of intent
 5.  Once the AB endorses adoption/issuance of a RFP or a submission, voting shifts to Domain/Platform/Contributing member levels
