[Ccsds-omg-liaison] A personal note

Greetings, everyone.



This is a bittersweet message to write, but as you likely saw in yesterday's message to members, I will be leaving OMG Staff at the end of this week. It has been an absolute honor to have been your Technical Director these past three years, through what can only be described as challenging circumstances and groundshaking modifications to how the OMG community operates.



While my last official day will be Feb 3rd, the entire staff is working to make the transition into Q1 as smooth as possible for the community. I want to welcome Mike Bennett as the new Technical Director, and I know you are in good hands. He and I will make sure that processes continue unabated during this time, so that the meeting in Reston is its usual success.



I cannot overstate how proud I have been to have been able to serve you all during my tenure, and it is my firm belief that there is nowhere else like OMG. All of you have created a community that has had a lasting and global impact on numerous industries, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us all.
