[Ccsds-omg-liaison] Space Mission Challenges for Information Technology at California Institute of Technology, Pasadena (July 30-August 1)

Hi,

 

I just received an email from Michael Campbell, who is the Co-General Chair
for this  <https://smcit.ecs.baylor.edu/> conference. He's very interested
in having OMG participate. He wrote: "The goals, standards, and products of
the OMG are very consistent with areas of interest we have seen at prior
SMC-IT conferences and are exactly in line with many of the topics that we
are looking for this year." He sent me background on the conference and
explanations of the call for papers/poster and proposal to submit a
mini-workshop (attached).

 

I guess there are two way to participate - either submit a paper/poster or
propose a workshop. Manuscripts (up to 8 pages) for full papers as well as
posters and mini-workshop proposals (1-2 pages) must be received by March 6,
2019. Acceptance notification will be emailed by April 15, 2019.

 

FYI - There is a provision that the conference Program Committee could
recommend that a paper would be more relevant to the Space Computing
Conference, which is co-located with SMC-IT.
