3rd XTCE Workshop at CCSDS Spring Meeting (Portsmount, Virgnia, US)







We've decided to hold another XTCE workshop at the upcoming CCSDS Spring meeting in Portsmouth Virginia on May 5th.

The meeting will consist of half-day of presentations and discussions starting in the afternoon after lunch.

We need two things from you -- a note back saying that you plan on attending, and an abstract if you would like to present!

The rough agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1st portion

-- Slide presentations by the user community on their past, present and perhaps even future planned experiences with XTCE

2nd portion

-- Brief update on finalization efforts for the two XTCE Magenta Books
-- Implementers Forum: past and present experience on implementing XTCE, approaches, software, algorithms, etc...
-- XTCE 1.2 Draft -- overview of current draft and open issues, community input
-- Open discussion if time remains

I've chalked myself in for two presentations:  one in the "1st portion" for GovSat a GSFC initiate to capture a "core" usage for XTCE1.1 that has other agency and vendor support. And then in the 2nd portion, my notes on implementing XTCE.

Surely though you don't want to listen to me the entire time right?

So if you are interested in presenting in these topic areas, write up a brief abstract and send it in back to either myself or Mario Merri.
