[cssm] NAVWG input re XML Schema versioning

CSSM Colleagues,

Following up from our teleconference earlier today, attached please find the presentation from the navigation working group with regard to the issues they have encountered re XML schema versioning. The NAV WG Chair (copied on this email) is okay with this being shared with the CSSM WG.  As we work through our in-development approach for versioning given that we are moving the XML Schemas to GitHub I suggest that we keep the issues raised by the NAVWG in mind, and that we share any ideas/conclusions we have with the NAVWG.  After all, the CSSM WG is, in some sense, a consumer of the NAV NDM, and in turn, the NAVWG participated with us in producing the Abstract Event recommendation, which of course includes the CSSM WG developed XML Schema.  Perhaps by the time of the fall meetings we might want to consider a joint session to exchanges approaches, solutions.
