Multispectral and Hyperspectral Data Compression Working Group identified
the need for a Green Book on “Spectral Pre-Processing Transform for Multispectral
& Hyperspectral Image Compression” to support CCSDS-122.1-B</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">•        development
of CCSDS-122.1-B is now mature enough to allow starting the preparation
of the related Green Book </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">•        a
related draft CWE Project already exist</font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">•        the
WG has consensus on this </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">RECOGNISING that required resources
have been identified </font>
<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">RESOLVES to request CMC to approve starting
the CWE Project for “Spectral Pre-Processing Transform for Multispectral
& Hyperspectral Image Compression” Green Book as per attached printout
