SPACE RESEARCH 8.45-8.50 GHz BAND, SPACE-TO-EARTH, CATEGORY A”,; and </font>
<br><font size=3 face="sans-serif">o new 2.4.22B “MODULATION METHODS FOR
SIMULTANEOUS TRANSMISSION OF HIGH SYMBOL RATE TELEMETRY AND PN RANGING,
SPACE RESEARCH 8.40-8.45 GHz BAND, SPACE-TO-EARTH, CATEGORY B”, and</font>
<br><font size=3 face="sans-serif">o revised 4.1.5 “COMPUTATIONAL TECHNIQUE
FOR THE MEAN AND VARIANCE OF THE MODULATION LOSSES FOUND IN THE CCSDS TELECOMMUNICATION

an update to CCSDS 401.0-B representing the consensus of the WG</font>
<br><font size=3 face="sans-serif"><b>CONSIDERING </b>that new independent
implementations are already available, and that no known patent issues
exist </font>
<br><font size=3 face="sans-serif"><b>RESOLVES </b>to request CESG/CMC
to approve the publication of approve publication of a new version of CCSDS
401.0-B “Radio Frequency and Modulation Systems—Part 1: Earth Stations
and Spacecraft” including</font>
<br><font size=3 face="sans-serif">o new recommendation 2.4.22A,</font>
<br><font size=3 face="sans-serif">o new recommendation 2.4.22B, and</font>
<br><font size=3 face="sans-serif">o revised recommendation 4.1.5. </font>
<br><font size=3 face="sans-serif"><b>RECOMMENDS</b> that the CESG approve
this resolution and, finally</font><font size=3> </font>
<br><font size=3 face="sans-serif"><b>REQUESTS</b> that a CESG poll be
conducted to accomplish this. </font><font size=5 face="sans-serif">
