<p class="MsoNormal">A subset of the SLP WG, along with some input from Industry, have developed a new proposal to augment the existing set of directives in Proximity-1 Space Data Link Protocol (CCSDS 211.0-B-6). The motivation comes from the latest set of
robotic lunar missions proposed which drive things such as a larger go-back-N value for COP-P, new modulation types (GMSK), and new coding rates LDPC rate 2/3, etc.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">This work takes advantage of the available SPDU types 4 and 8, which amongst others, are currently held in reserve by CCSDS.<o:p></o:p></p>
