<div>Dear SLP WG,</div>

</div>
<div>I have added this agenda item to our SLP WG agenda for London. Please review the attachments and come prepared to discuss this proposal for adding a type 2 report to TM and AOS. Note that these changes are not for consideration for the current update
to both the AOS and TM Blue Books. However it would be very good for us to be able to provide feedback to the SDLS WG on this topic.</div>

<div>Dear Greg,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>In the frame of SDLS WG (SDLS "extended procedures" project), I have been tasked to draft a modification of specification in TM and AOS Space Data Link Protocols books to define a type-2 OCF to accomodate a real-time report of the TC link for the SDLS
protocol. This so-called "Command Link Security Report (CLSR)" has been proposed and adopted by SDLS WG as a needed capability to report on-line the status of the on-board SDLS receiver. This CLSR is the equivalent (for SDLS) of the CLCW (for the COP). CLSR
proposal is detailed in the attached ppt file.</div>
<div></div>
<div>I have drafted modifications of section 4.1.5 (Operational Control Field) of TM (and AOS) blue books, to introduce the necessary specification of this CLSR as a CCSDS defined Type-2-Report (see attached file):</div>
<div></div>
<div>The specification of the content of the CLSR wil be in the SDLS "extended procedures" future blue book (355.1).</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Do you agree with this proposal to use OCF for SDLS reporting on the downlink ?</div>
<div>Do you have any comment on the proposed wording for the modification of both TM and AOS SDLP BB ?</div>
<div><br>
