<li>I streamlined the text to the minimum necessary to convey the capabilities.</li><li>I modified the recommended format of the PICS Proforma in the CCSDS yellow book Annex F, to not include an "mandatory/optional" column. Rather, I added a column called "comments", for amplification of the support column, in case more detail is warrented.
Again my opinion is that "mandatory/optional" really only applies in the context of an Enterprise and it's operations. Therefore, I was agnostic about "mandatory" and "optional" as a column attribute, but referenced all the "what statements" and "options"
as stated in specification as capabilities for completeness. I really believe this format will be much more useful to our user community, which for the foreseen future is the International Mars Program.</li></ul>
