with other CCSDS documents, if we simply use the same text from tCCSDS

are transparent, differential encoding can be used before the convolutionalencoder to help phase ambiguity resolution and, correspondingly, the conversion

encoder is not advised because it introduces considerable loss of performance.
It alsowould require differential detection, which is more complex
