<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="color:#1F497D;mso-fareast-language:EN-US">“A discussion occurred about the possibility to use Prox UHF links in the lunar environment. CNES noted that such use if not recommended in the Shielded Zone of the Moon
(<b>SZM</b>) by the in force SFCG recommendation <b>32-2R5</b> related to lunar communication and PNT frequencies. Since discussions on use of the UHF Prox links in the lunar environment are sometime occuring, CNES suggested an update of the frequency band
paragraph of the Prox-1 Books related to Physical Layer layer, to indicate this <b>
SZM </b>issue and to refer to SFCG 32 32-2R5. This could be compared with the case in the wireless 3GPP and Wifi CCSDS Blue Book (883.0-B-1.1) which also refers to this SFCG recommendation.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
