<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Originally, I had planned to attend the CCSDS autumn meeting, due to other obligations in context of the new position, to which I was promoted end of last year,
I will not be able to be present in Berlin next week.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Furthermore it is now time to completely move on to the new tasks, therefore I am glad to announce that a very knowledgeable successor for my former position
has been found.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">I would have liked to use the opportunity of the face to face meeting to introduce you to him and to say farewell in person.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Dr. Gerd Kochem will in the future represent the DLR Space Administration position at CCSDS OPT SLS.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Dr. Kochem is attending the ICSO conference this week and for some of you this might already have been a good opportunity to get in contact.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">In the next months we plan to jointly attend the telephone conferences. Therefore, a smooth transition will be guaranteed.
