It has been a while I have not participated in meetings of the Working Group due to no authorization from our CSA management even though I keep requesting for. Since last year the Liberal Party government is in power, which is more friendly to federal government
scientists, some policies have begun changing. I have got permission from my director to spend a limit amount time to support CCSDS activities. I am continuing pushing our CSA management to authorize me to participate in CCSDS working meetings.<o:p class=""></o:p></div>

The White Book is for a new recommended standard “Near-Lossless Multispectral & Hyperspectral Image Compression” (123.1-B). I will review this draft document in detail and provide my inputs and comments before the coming up CCSDS technical meeting in San Antonio.
I will not participate in this meeting and wish you have a successful meeting. If it is necessary to clarify my comments on the White Book, I may be reached via teleconference during the period of the meeting.<o:p class=""></o:p></div>
