understand the project is about the extension of the present 131.3-B-1
to allow interworking of DVB-S2 with USLP and AOS. However, the description
refers only to USLP. Similarly, the description provided in Annex 2 points
only to USLP and generically about space-to-space and ground-to-space links.
I’d suggest to explicitly mention AOS too.

general from the purpose and the description of the project, it is not
fully clear to me which technical work is planned here. Is it just about
adding a chapter about specifying the codes (as I read from the description)?
As such I understand, that new codes other than those of the ETSI DVB-S2
specification will be considered in this new chapter. Then, I also read
that this new chapter will also specify the space link protocols. What
does it mean exactly? Apparently I see something more than just “editing
work”, probably requiring validation through interoperability testing
(i.e. with the typical 2 prototypes). Why isn’t it the case?
